Installation Instructions:

You must be using Firefox 3.x to install the Alpheios tools.

The Alpheios Extensions have been approved by Mozilla. You may download the Alpheios Extensions directly from their Firefox Add-Ons Site, or you can use the buttons below.

  1. Click one of the following buttons to install the Alpheios Firefox Extension packages:
    The above links will install the Alpheios Basic Libaries along with the tools for the selected language(s).
  2. When prompted, you must allow installations from this site in order to proceed with the installation:

  3. Wait for the Firefox Software Installation dialog to appear (this may take a few seconds):

  4. Click "Install Now" to install the extensions.
  5. Restart Firefox

Installation from Firefox Add-Ons Site:

  1. Click the link to go to the Firefox Add-Ons Site
  2. Once on the site, click the green "Add to Firefox" buttons to install the Alpheios Basic Libaries, Alpheios Greek Tools and Alpheios Latin Tools:

  3. You must install the Alpheios Basic Libraries as well as at least one of the Language Tool Extensions (Alpheios Latin Tools and/or Alpheios Greek Tools)
  4. Wait for the Firefox Software Installation dialog to appear (this may take a few seconds):

  5. Click "Install Now" to install the extensions.
  6. Restart Firefox
